During my sophomore year at Brown, I made Wine Drunk, the short film, as a final for my film production class. It was my first time writing and directing a scripted film, and it was a huge learning experience for me. Wine Drunk, the short film, tells the narrative story of my single “Wine Drunk (pt. 1 and pt. 2).” Taking place over a few different realities—the present, the past, a romanticized past, and a potential future—Wine Drunk allows the viewer a guilty moment to fantasize about an impossible relationship, just long enough to bring you back to reality.
